THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF THIS ORGANIZATION ARE:

  • To educate, develop and inform members in all areas of telecommunications with major emphasis on Nortel Networks product line.

  • To maintain an ongoing channel of communications between the manufacturer, Nortel Networks, the authorized distributors and the chapter members, to relate any common
    problems, concerns and/or ideas.

  • To provide a network of individuals with common
    concerns related to the field of telecommunications.

  • To provide an educational environment for chapter members by sponsoring seminars, workshops and product information by equipment vendors and service providers.

    Dear INNUA Members,

     

    In January, the leadership of INNUA, InAAU and INSIGHT 100inc announced an intent to join together in creating a single, unified community of Avaya customers. I am pleased and excited to inform you that today marks the official launch of our new customer-led organization the - International Avaya Users Group (IAUG).

     

    IAUG combines the membership and interests of the heritage Avaya and heritage Nortel communities, creating the largest, unified community of Avaya customers worldwide at 6,000 members strong. While there is still much work to be done, the transition Board of Directors is confident that the organization has the structure in place to support the functions and services that Avaya users rely on.

     

    The new organization was officially introduced to the Avaya customer community during the opening general session of The Art of Evolution/Global Connect 2010. With more than 2,500 customers, partners and industry experts gathered in Denver for this year's event, the path and future of the IAUG already looks bright.     Until IAUG becomes fully operational, the existing user groups will continue to represent and serve their members as we do today. Your membership will transfer into the IAUG and be guaranteed until its current renewal date.

     

    I am confident this step forward is a positive one for heritage Nortel and heritage Avaya customers alike, and pledge to keep you informed as we continue in our transition to the IAUG.
